Across the universe

One of a Kind

Fill in the blank

So today I was all ready to finish up my one-of-a-kind drawing that I already had started, when I checked on the page and realized I had forgotten that it was actually a fill in the blank week. I knew this last week, but forgot during the week.  So here's what I came up with for the rectangle shape.  I'm linking with Scribble Picnic.

Mushy

It's been a while since I've shared anything new.  I had some time to get in a quick little drawing today while subbing for junior high English.  This week's theme is mushy.  My pictures not completely mushy, but mushy reminded me of mushrooms.  So here's what I've got.  Glad I had the chance to participate again with Scribble Picnic.  I'm linking with Scribble Picnic.

Blanket

Here's my drawing for this week's theme blanket.  Green is my favorite color so I was quickly drawn to this when I saw it.  It was neat to try something new.  I'm linking with Scribble Picnic  where you can check out more blanket creations.

Tie it up

Here are my sketches for this week's theme tie it up on Scribble Picnic.  Presents all tied up pretty and a couple different ties to go along with the theme too.

Canned okra for the first time last night!  My brother and family were out of state visiting family, so we were able to go over and tend to their garden.  They had lots of okra to pick, so we decided to can some and make pickled okra.

Curly

 So above I have the name of my new Etsy shop that I've recently started, with some curly additions to it. 

Below I drew some curly vines on an archway with gourds and blossoms.  My dad has a nice garden including a trellis pathway similar to this with gourds growing all the way down it, they even venture off into nearby trees with some guidance from strings.

Flower Bed

 Here are a few of my drawings for flower bed.  Joining from Scribble Picnic.  I tried out my new charcoal and pencils, will take some getting used to.

Curtain

 This is my curtain for this week's scribble picnic.  I started with a pencil drawing then added water color.  I painted the left side first then tried something different with the blending on the right side.  So the curtains are not the same, but it was fun to try something new this week.
