June 28, 2017

So, a lot has been going on around here lately. My husband and I have made the decision to move back home near my family. Josh has been offered a mechanic job.

We have been spending the last couple weeks cleaning up the yard and packing up the inside of the house to get ready to move.
We've got quite the yard here, last week family was super kind and came up and helped us clear out the yard for a day or two.
Josh has taken a trailer load of boxes and things to my parents, and is hoping to start work up there soon. I'm staying at our house for now to keep the yard managed, and the inside of the house ready for showings that might come up.
Hoping that things move along quickly, so that we can move and get started with things up by my parents.
Looking forward to fourth of July plans this weened and beginning of next week!  Visiting some of Josh's family this weekend to celebrate the fourth and my family is visiting here around the fourth!

June 4, 2017

Church at the park this morning with tasty potluck afterwards.  I made some no bake cookies that turned out a little different than usual.  They were extra gooey.  Still tasty so that's good.  I also tried a new recipe for Herb and Cheddar Squash Bread.  It was different, but I thought it turned out alright.  Weren't too many takers today though.
Yesterday I got my bountiful basket with a few squash so I found a new recipe to use them in.
This afternoon I spent some time in the yard trimming some trees and picking up some other yard weeds and things.  I filled one of our two yard waste bins today.  Glad we got these on Friday.  Josh left for National Guard training (for two weeks ugh) and took the truck so I would have quite the pile waiting for him if we didn't get the bins. They pick them up weekly so this should help quite a bit with cleaning up the yard.  I've been trying to go out every day to do a little more every time.   It's quite the project, but it'll be great once it's all finished.  I also weeded my garden today a little.  There were some pea pods today!

Mail

Watched my niece and nephew this past week and we played outside with chalk.  Here's my mail drawing with sidewalk chalk.
