This is my curtain for this week's scribble picnic. I started with a pencil drawing then added water color. I painted the left side first then tried something different with the blending on the right side. So the curtains are not the same, but it was fun to try something new this week.

I like the combination of curtain colours, great idea to show the different effects.
ReplyDeleteI love that each side is different and beautiful colors too. joining from scribble picnic.
ReplyDeleteCurtains should have personality...and your two different sides show a lot of spark and personality. Nice drawing and nice colors too.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteit's good to try new things. I like your use of colors, wonderfully done!
ReplyDeletehave a lovely day.
I think your experimenting shows the different effects that light can have and I wouldn't think that they didn't match.
ReplyDeleteLike Lorraine said, kind of just looks like more light is shining on one than the other.
ReplyDeleteThe same but different ... I love both sides of the curtain. I am glad I don't have to choose ... love the choice of colors as well. Very nice ...

Who says curtains have to be the same? I'd buy those if I saw them in a store.
ReplyDeleteTrina,
ReplyDeleteI love blending and watching the colour flow together. What a great experiment and the curtains look lovely.

Nice! I did purple curtains too. :)
ReplyDeleteIt all depends on how the light is hitting those curtains!!
ReplyDeleteTrina, I think Scribble Picnic is a perfect avenue to try new things and you did! Well done! Curtains are as good as any place to start too. These are fun and purple! now, I'm just imagining the type of person who would conceivably own those. :)
